For sale here is a Korean-made Schecter C-7 Hellraiser 7 string guitar with a Schecter case included.
If you want a 7 string and are on a budget, this could be your answer. The C-7 Hellraiser has great playability and tone thanks to a great combination of mahogany and the 26.5" scale length (none of the mushiness of 25.5" scale 7 strings).
Musician's Friend says:
- Set-neck construction with ultra-access cutaway
- 26-1/2" scale
- Mahogany body
- Mahogany neck
- Rosewood fingerboard
- 24 extra-jumbo frets
- Gothic cross inlays
- EMG active 707-TW pickups
- 2 Volume with push/pull for single-coils/tone controls
- 3-way pickup switch
- Thru-body TonePros bridge
- Abalone binding
- Schecter locking tuners
- Black chrome hardware
This is surprisingly versatile, I wouldn't call this a metal-only guitar at all. I have it set up to use .11's with a .30 at the bottom, I can include some strings if you'd like, you may want to decide for yourself.
Please note, as shown in a picture, that this is a factory-stamped 2nd. I bought it NEW as a 2nd. 2nd means some small cosmetic error that I can't find myself (its kinda hard with the black finish). I have had the guitar for almost 1 year and have played it regularly for about 5 months of that time.
Also note that this is a Korean factory-made instrument, they have much better reputations than the current new ones. I don't know this personally, just passing it on.
Included is a Schecter Diamond Series case, $99 new at the store. Its a nice case, I only use it for storage and haven't used it for much travel so its in almost-new condition.
This is a great-sounding and playing guitar, I just have to get down to one guitar right now.
